Alpha Cellulose Powder
Alpha cellulose powder is basically alpha cellulose and it is derived from cotton or wood pulp. It is inert, non-abrasive, soft, absorbent used in casing material of welding electrodes, rubber mixing, Bakelite plastic, filtering aids etc. available in white to cream powder form.
Application:
- When used in welding electrodes, it leaves practically nothing after incineration and provides inert gas atmosphere at the time of welding.
- When used to ruber mixing, the specific gravity of the product is lowered, gives leather like consistency without abrasion resistance to sole sheets.
